Construction update at the Werkedam yard

The WEVA project is about sharing knowledge, demonstrating innovation and contributing to setting a standard for the use of hydrogen in inland shipping. Last week, about 50 guests attended our construction update.

Owner Harm Lenten gave those present a tour of the zero-emission inland vessel. Speakers Chris Kornet from Corcordia Damen, Birgit Gijsbers from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, Marco Waas from Nobian, Femke Brenninkmeijer from NPRC and Vivienne de Leeuw from Port of Rotterdam underlined the importance of cooperation within the energy transition.
